Add some more verses to your prayer
Once you have learned Surah al Fatihah, you will need to learn some other verses from the Qur’an to recite in your Salah.
Here we give examples of some short Surahs which are relatively easy to learn. These 3 Surah are the 3 last chapters of the Qur’an.
Surah Al-Ikhlas (The Purity or Sincerity of Faith)

Allahus-samad
Lam yalid wa-lam yulad
wa-lam yakun lahu kufuwan ahad
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious the Most Merciful
Say: ‘He is Allah the one and only
Allah the Eternal, Absolute
He does not give birth
and He was not born
and there is nothing (at all) like Him’
Surah al-Falaq (The Dawn)

Wa-min sharrin-naffathati fi’l-‘uqad
Wa-min sharri hasidin idha hasad
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious the Most Merciful
Say: ‘I seek safety and protection in the Lord of the dawn
from the evil of the things He created,
from the evil of the darkness when it is very strong,
from the evil of people who practise witchcraft,
and from the evil of the envious one when he envies’.
Surah an-Nas (The People)

the King of all people,
the God of all people,
from the evil of those who whisper secretly,
who whisper (evil) into the hearts of people.
